Data Collection and Handling

1. Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service (“BOKSS”) has been engaged by Hang Lung (“HL”) to assist in organizing this Check-In Challenge (“Challenge”), which is hosted on BOKSS’s website. For the purposes of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (“PDPO”), both BOKSS and HL may act as data users in respect of the personal data collected through the Challenge.

2. Personal data collected through this website will be used for administering and operating the Challenge, verifying employee identity and eligibility, recording participation and points, arranging awards and notifications and conducting analysis and administrative work related to the Challenge.

3. The provision of your name and HL staff number is necessary for participation in the Challenge. The provision of written responses, photographs and other information is voluntary, but may be required for submission of certain entries in order to score points.

4. Information you submit through the Challenge will be collected by BOKSS and will be transferred to HL for the purposes stated above. BOKSS will handle the personal data in accordance with the PDPO and its Personal Information Collection Statement.

5. Photographs and other content submitted by you may be used by HL for internal communications and external publicity and promotional purposes (including publication on websites and social media platforms). By submitting such content, you acknowledge and agree to such use.

6. If you provide personal data of other individuals (such as colleagues or third parties), you should ensure that you have informed them of the purposes of collection and obtained their consent to such provision.

7. You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data held by BOKSS and/or HL. Such requests may be made by contacting BOKSS at refresh@bokss.org.hk or HL’s Human Resources Department.
